MLK Jr. Day is a day meant to call everyone into the service of others. In this spirit, we will be making fleece blankets for Project Linus on January 20th, from 10am – noon.
Project Linus provides handmade blankets to children 0-18 in the United States who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need. We will be making single layer, tied, fleece blankets.
Please bring with you:
- 1.5 yds of colorful fleece fabric (per blanket)
- Sharp scissors
- A 4” square of stiff cardboard to use as a template, and some masking or painter’s tape.
We hope you will join us for this event for the whole family!
