Jay Srygley is our Director of Music & Worship Arts which means he leads our congregation in worship each week by collaborating and cultivating a team of amazing musicians and technicians who are using their gifts for God’s glory. Jay is a musician and actor at heart. Most of his free time is spent treading the boards in local theatres across town. Jay has three amazing daughters: Amanda, Taylor, and Sophia. And recently he has gained a son in law, Ethan. He still hasn’t figured out what to do with a son, but he’s not complaining.

Jay has been involved in every form of church music for over 30 years. His first experience was as music director of a small church in Little Rock Arkansas when he was a junior in college. Jay has a degree is in music and has taught contemporary worship practices all over the world. He is motivated by reaching people the church has marginalized or forgotten, while doing what he can to empower and inspire others to do the same. Jay believes that music points to the greatness of God and he is honored to help lead people to a place of seeing that greatness and then getting out of the way so God can do amazing things.
