We believe focusing our mission work on two main areas of need helps us use our resources most effectively as we live out God’s mission and vision for our church:

Overcoming Poverty
Seeking Health & Wholeness For All

SIENA FRANCIS HOUSE

Siena welcomes, shelters & empowers individuals experiencing homelessness.  Our financial and volunteer support allows St. Andrew’s to supply, prepare & deliver 250 lunches every week.  Our donation drives help provide Siena guests and residents with basic needs such as towels & personal hygiene products.

Living Hope Food Pantry

This food pantry regularly serves households in North Omaha.  St. Andrew's is a consistent contributor committed to keeping the shelves of this food pantry stocked.  Our contributions help keep the pantry open to the community. Shopping lists are made available, food donations are collected on our Serve Shelves, and volunteers deliver weekly.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

Habitat partners with families & individuals as they become first-time homeowners. Our financial donations & willingness to volunteer brings strength, stability & independence to families in need of a quality, affordable place to live. The volunteer support at a build site helps create these homes. We always need willing hands age 16 and older - no experience needed.

Bless Our Schools

We seek to encourage and support our community school partners by showing up for SIX schools that need us most:

  • Monroe Middle School
  • Howard Kennedy Elementary
  • Sherman Elementary
  • Kellom Elementary
  • Conestoga Elementary
  • Picotte (our neighborhood school).

We aim to bless the entire staff through goody carts, hot cocoa bars, coffee, conference meals, teacher appreciation, notes of encouragement, and student incentive programs.  As needs arise for students, we also help through clothing and backpack donations.
